For five days, we’ll move through intentional practices – morning flows, alignment workshops, yin, breathwork, sound healing, cacao and sunrise meditation -held on 30 acres of peaceful land in Byron Bay.

Together, Gemma from Gemma Lou Yoga and Denise from House of Source, have created a retreat that blends strength, softness and soul; a space where you can breathe deeper, rest fully and remember what it feels like to be in flow with yourself again.

Gemma Lou Yoga

Gemma brings a decade of experience in yoga, mindfulness and breath-led movement. Her classes are grounding, fluid and heart-led – designed to help you feel present, open and connected. Gemma teaches with warmth, depth and a calm, steady presence that makes every session feel safe and expansive.

Denise

House of Source

Denise blends yoga, alignment-based movement, strength training and intuitive energy work. She loves helping people feel stronger – from the inside out – through mindfulness, full body movement and nervous-system support. Her approach brings equal parts softness and fire, encouraging you to meet your edges gently and powerfully.

Held at the Byron Yoga Centre

Our retreat takes place on 30 acres of peaceful land just minutes from the beach and Byron town centre. With organic gardens, yoga shalas, a heated mineral pool and nourishing vegetarian meals made from fresh local produce, it’s the perfect space to unwind and reset.

Choose the Room that Feels Right for You

Accommodation is offered in a range of simple, comfortable rooms designed to support rest and quiet time throughout the retreat. All rooms are located on the retreat centre grounds, surrounded by nature, with easy access to the yoga spaces, gardens and communal areas.

Options include private or shared Verandah rooms, Ensuite rooms, Shared bathroom rooms, and Quad (4-share) rooms. Prices vary depending on room type and level of privacy.

Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Nourishment for Your Body

Meals are an intentional part of the Retreat, designed to support your energy, digestion and overall wellbeing throughout the experience.

At the Retreat Centre, most of the food comes from their three acres of organic gardens and the menu is crafted around the principles of slow, seasonal and nutrient-rich vegetarian cuisine – fresh, wholesome and deeply nourishing. Expect breakfasts, lunches and dinners that feel grounding and satisfying, made with super-fresh, locally sourced, organic ingredients, with plenty of herbal teas and fresh fruit available throughout the day.

Dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free options, can be accommodated with notice, ensuring your meals are both delicious and suited to your body’s needs.

Pricing & How to Join

Retreat pricing includes accommodation, all meals and the full retreat program (excluding costs for flights, optional dinner in town and transport in Byron). To join, simply email us your preferred room type and receive the payment details afterwards.

Once your place is secured, you’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps and all practical details to prepare for the retreat.

Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do I need yoga experience to join?

No prior yoga experience is required. All practices are guided with options and variations, allowing you to move at your own pace. Whether you’re newer to yoga or have an established practice, the retreat is designed to meet you where you are.

Is this retreat only for women?

Yes, this specific retreat is held as a women-only space. It’s designed to support connection, safety and shared experience in a way that allows everyone to fully drop in.

Can I come on my own?

Absolutely. Many participants attend on their own and the retreat environment is intentionally welcoming and inclusive. Solo travellers often find this experience deeply nourishing and connective.

What is included in the price?

The retreat price includes accommodation, all meals and the full retreat program. This covers all movement sessions, workshops, ceremonies and group experiences offered during the retreat.

What’s not included?

Travel to, from and in Byron Bay, optional external activities and personal expenses (such as massages or off-site meals) are not included.

What should I bring?

A detailed packing list will be shared closer to the retreat. In general, bring comfortable clothing for movement, a journal, swimwear, layers for cooler mornings and anything that helps you feel at ease.

Are meals suitable for dietary requirements?

Yes. Meals are vegetarian and nourishing. Please let us know about any dietary requirements during booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Is everything optional?

Yes. All sessions are optional. You’re encouraged to listen to your body and choose what feels supportive for you throughout the retreat.

What is your cancellation policy?

As a small, independently run business, a lot of care, time and energy goes into planning each retreat. To secure your place, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. If you’re unable to attend, you may cancel before the remaining balance is due. Once full payment has been made, refunds are not possible at this time.
